survival starting time

As soon as the crickets start chirping I will start on the survival challenge

    I feel that i need to give a little more info concerning my survival challenge. First off Im going to be using  basic survival tools. The main survival tool is gonna be my survival knowledge. I reckon that its gonna be pretty risky because of the copper-heads that prowl the land. But fear not. I have a secret weapon of  how to keep them  (and mosquitos) at bay. The key to my survival is going to hinge on a piece of tin foil. Which may not good to some but I intend not to act like a marshmellow

By the way i feel the need the clarify about the wood pecker post i meant that the berries where poisonus to humans and not birds.  

by the way i saw a pileated wood-pecker at the top of holly tree munching holly berrys. as i recall the berrys are poisonus

the name of the falls we saw at the blue ridge is dark hallow falls

camp tip

one way to protect yourself from snakes and creepy- crawlys. is to sprinkle holly leaves around your camp in a circle like fashion
