I am very happy to anounce that the Cardinal eggs have hatched.This is a true example of the renewal of spring. However two of the eggs have not hatched but likely will. These are new-borns. See that the eyes have not opened
We have a nest under our porch, but I'll have to get my ladder in order to check to see if the babies are hatched. Ours are called Flycatchers, I think. That is so neat you are able to keep an eye on the Cardinals so easily with it being right in the bush. I'm glad they hatched about the time you returned from your trip. :)
